With a performance background, Alex Joy has always had a passion for music and movement. She believes in and as witnessed first hand the transformative power of fitness, and takes the strength of athlete, the spirit of a yogi and unending enthusiasm to push you past your limits. She is a personal trainer, a cycling instructor at Work It Out Gyms in Hoboken, and a certified health coach through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition.
Dancing and competing since the age of five, Katherine brings not only experience in choreography, stage presence and performance, but also an in-depth awareness of movement, flexibility training, and proper technique. She went on to perform with the University of California Dance Team, where she helped program workouts to keep her team strong and in shape for the field. She became certified through NASM and further broadened her knowledge with certificates in yoga and group fitness classes. Since then she has trained beginner runners, led group and private dance classes, and co-managed a gym in Peru and now teaches for PACT PARK in addition to BOSS BODY NYC.
